I'm a graphic designer. I love reading more than (almost) anything, and I also love art. Art of all sorts.
My favorite books tend to be more off beat than traditional. I love a good weird book.

For kicks you should read The Hunger Games. I noticed you are not oppossed to some YA fiction. Highly recommend. I stumbled upon your shelf seeing whether or not I should read Amusing Ourselves To Death. The Hunger games is great fiction piece in that same vein....

Hello, Reojames. I’m the author of The Sandal Maker, a new novel about the public ministry of Jesus from a unique point of view, a little controversial at times, but you will see him as never before. It’s a story that will take you on a fascinating journey in first century Galilee. Have you ever wondered what is was like to live in those times? What part did women play in his ministry? Was he the first feminist? Were the miracles real? Why did Judas betray the Master? How does the gospel of Jesus compare to the gospel according to Peter and Paul? This is a “must read” for those on a true spiritual quest. You can read reviews at Amazon.com. I’m including a link to copy and paste. Let me know what you think.

Just wanted to let you know that my new novel, Dirty Little Angels, is now available. I thought you might like it since it’s been compared to Daniel Woodrell, whom I noticed was on your shelf. Here’s a link to the Shelfari page in case you’re interested:

Would you want me to update you when we have cool authors come to King College to speak? Matt and I could put you up if you ever want to make the trip. We've had Thomas Lynch, Clyde Edgerton, Wendell Berry, Frederick Buechner and more visit and speak. For some reason I never thought to alert you. Just let me know.
