“Tall dark and handsome and mysterious and wild guy falling in love. CHECK. I'm an adult, but I got all teeny-bopper-mushy over this. I don't understand the protagonist's line of thinking, seriously, so one moment I think I understand the character, but then her thoughts run in a completely different direction from what you'd expect her to think. Or maybe it's just me. Never mind. I was entertained and hooked. Read well into the night and early morning to finish this.”

“For some reason, even though you already know the original fairy tale, the author still manages to keep you hooked long enough to find out what happens anyway. Brilliant work by the master re-teller. I'd have given it five stars if I had loved his version of Cinderella, which was not pleasantly absurd (more like confusing absurd).”
