Books are my friends. they may be funny, witty, intellectual, dead serious, dangerous, moving, emotional, spiritual... and I accept them as they are, pick up pieces of myself from them, without losing myself to them. But if they go around hurting people and if they bring apathy into this world, then I refuse to be their friends. Since I cannot judge a book by its cover, I read them anyway and decide to put them in the deepest part of my shelf (or self) to always remind me of how people should never be. « less
