Read your striking review of Mann's Dr. F. Wow, The Magic Mountain is so rich and making me wonder if I'll ever finish at 6-7 pages nightly. Now you've got me looking forward to continued literary bliss and mind-numbing wonder at words magically strung into more layered webs? I must be insane. I can't wait. Okay, time to open the jaws of the current beast.
I'm just over 100 pages in.....weird thing, Jake said he wanted to buy me a book....he walked very studiously through the shelves and picked this one out. Kid has taste! What can I say! :)
I finished Pillars in less than two weeks and I have less than 200 pages left in World Without End.....I liked them A LOT! :D
Thanks! I find you everywhere!
I would be honored to be added to your blog roll.
I'll be happy to be your Shelfari friend. I visited your blog, and found your insights to be interesting.
Definitely try something other than Northanger Abbey!! P&P or even Emma. :)
