Shilo

I am a mom of three, ages 10, 9, and 2. I work from home as a business researcher and spend far too much time on the Internet.

I was an only child until I was 13 and spent a lot of time with my "nose shoved in a book." I learned how to read when I was three and have yet to find a hobby that I like as much. (I did try knitting at one...more »

Me again, with another reminder for this past week. :-) If you have anything to add, please add it in so I can include it in tomorrow's scoring. We currently only have 7 books for this week, so hopefully you've got something to include. Thanks so much!

I checked it out, and as far as points go, Outlander will get more points if counted in week 2, just a thought.

I see Candice beat me to it! I was going to come give you a reminder that if you had finished anything to please let us know so I can include it tomorrow.

I just went back and forth in your conversation with her, and you said you likely won't be done till Friday, which is fine. I just wanted to suggest - even though you'll be counting it for the week 1 tags, to wait and post it (with the tags it fits) when you actually finish. When I report the scoring for week 2, I'll specify any books that were started in week 1 and we are using week 1s tags for. Does that sound o.k.?

Enjoy the rest of your book! ttyl! :-)

Yes you are absolutely right. It will still count for week one, unless it's more advantagous to count it for week two. How are you enjoying it? I'm going to put in in my TBR because everyone raves about it.

Hi Shilo! How are things? It sounds like you've been very busy. When you get a moment today, don't forget to post this week's reads on our group page so we can add up the points and submit them for the end of the first week. Week number 2 starts on tomorrow! It's been a great start to the game. Hope all is going well.

Hi Shilo! Are you moving? You must be busy... I just wanted to let you know that we've been discussing a team name and the first weekly tag, so you might want to come take a look and get your input in there, too. :-)

I am doing good. We all have colds so that sucks. I know someone who has read Midnight Sun online. I want to so bad. I thought that it was a neat concept. I really liked Breaking Dawn and hope she writes another talking about Jacob and Bella's daughter. How are things with you?

I don't know. I can't put them on the same plane. But I did absolutely love FoL....and I don't know anyone else who totally loved it either. I suggested that one to a friend for her book club, and everyone hated it. I guess that one is for smart people? That must be it.
