I am an AP Literature and AP Language teacher. I have been teaching for 15 years. I read everything I can get my hands on. I love a great mystery as well as classics, nonfiction, and modern fiction. When I am not teaching, I love watching football and traveling with my wonderful husband. I also love hanging out in a great bookstore and playing with my two overly spoiled cats-Homer and Sophie.

I recently graduated with my M.Ed. in secondary education and I am pursuing my Ed.D. in school administration at Oklahoma State University. There are a great number of education books on my shelf. I try to keep my shelves at school filled so that my students will read more than just text messages. I also conduct professional development for my district and others to help teachers apply AP strategies in their classrooms to prepare for state mandated testing and AP exams. « less
