Go look at that trailer before you continue. It's the trailer for my second book, "Blackbirds: Volume 1."

I'm just one guy living this thing called life. In 2004 I turned down three offers from mainstream publishing houses and decided to start my own publishing company.

I am sooo pleased that you enjoyed The Seduction of Mr. Bradley. And I'm blown away with what's happening to Scott in The Liar's Tale. IMO, new writers can take a lesson from your technicality.

Just trying to stay focused with "Whispers." It's a challenge. I seem to have an easier flow with paranormal or vampire stories. Ha! I have a bit of the paranormal in Whispers, that's fun for me. Like you're your guy, the Liar. I had a friend who was a habitual liar--yeah she was a friend. I never knew what to believe about her, even her life. Had to put her on my "be careful" list.

You're right, the marketing and publicity would still be your responsibility even if a big house took you on. A lot of authors learn this too late in the game. If I have to hustle why should I share the profits for the use of their name? But I'm not looking to break the bank as some are. I write because I love it. To each his own, I'd say.

Andre, glad you made your way over here. Folks need to know about your work.

I'm embarrassed to say that I had to stop reading "A Liar's Tale" for a while because of some overdue issues and trying to get my new novel ready for the editor. But I will get back to it very soon.

May I ask why you turned down offers from publishers to self-publish?

And can your talk shows be picked up in the Midwest?

P.S. hope you're doing better with The Seduction of Mr. Bradley than I've been doing with your book.

    Welcome!

Please don't think I am in any way offended, honored is more like it, and I hope I have not offended in return! I just want to make sure your book would be a good fit and I must say that they both sound intriguing. I love the premise of your first book. So if you are still interested, I would be willing to review. :)
