Memories, Messages & Musings, by H P Bovell, 'The Poetess' is filled with style and grace. Poetry is not always done well, but this inspirational collection is powerful and moving. H P Bovell's Christian journey has been filled with love of others. Her gratitude for the blessings she has received from fellow travelers, and God's grace is written on every page. I think anyone reading the passages of this collection will find a message destined for their heart. Thoroughly heart moving prose!

Hooked by Jame May is a hilarious look at events in Woody's' life. This farcical look at love, and what you might 'wish for', is a rollicking good read. Hilarious, Original and Spellbinding! Humor at its best. The “Prince” is the best character I have met in a long time! Selected as NBR.org's Best Humorous Book of 2007 Award!

An epic story about gathering information for the Allied invasion to come, The Cobbler of Normandy pulls the reader into to the dangerous world of Occupied France, and the state of fear caused by the Nazi occupiers. The Author, a two book set by Robert Banfelder and the prequel to The Teacher, that won NBR.org's Best Suspense Book of the Year 2006. Robert Banfelder has turned up the suspense content in The Author, which speaks volumes for his newest work. Malcolm Columba is a mastermind turned serial killer that has placed his agents around the globe, both into terrorist groups and law enforcement agencies with equal success. It has long been thought that genius is next to madness, but could Columba's madness be a diabolical means to an end? The Author is filled with twists and unexpected turns that will keep readers on the edge of their seat untill past where you think this one will end. But wait this is just the beginning. Outstanding! Outstanding! Unspeakable crimes, a thrilling chase and a mesmerizing tangled plot, what more could you ask for! Banfelder has written another winner!

Alan Alda's Things I Overheard While Talking to Myself, is filled with moments in his life and a genuine look into his persona. From the speeches he has given, to his long time friends. Alda covers many subjects, injecting his sharp wit and his genuine love of people, life and learning. • Magdalen Rising: The Beginning (The Maeve Chronicles)
    • Rated 0 stars

Magdelen Rising by Elizabeth Cunningham is a fictional account of Mary Magdelen as a young Celtic girl, and her burgeoning relationship with Jesus of Nazareth. This is the prequel to The Passion of Mary Magdelen, and is filled with the wonder and excitement of a young girl as she moves into womanhood and explores the mysterious world around her. Cunningham gives Maeve (Mary Magdelen) parity as Maeve believes she was fathered by a God, and exhibits powers of insight associated with the Druids of that period. Funny, sexy, tragic and joyous are just a few of the terms I could use to describe Magdelen Rising. for it is all of that and more. Powerfully conceived and written , Magedlen Rising could become a literature classic. Outstanding Fiction! A powerful story!

  • The Shadow Catcher: A Novel
    • Rated 0 stars

A new novel by Marianne Wiggins, entitled The Shadow Catcher, is based around the life of Edward Curtis renowned photographer of American Indians who became an icon around the turn of the 19th century. Her research of her subject was extensive and led her to many little known facts about Curtis. His life is paralleled by the past of her fictitious heroine, author in this book. Which adds more power and emotion to her plot.

The only one word description I have for this book is WOW! Wiggins' style of writing is prose-like and her ability to see, not only the obvious, but the depths of emotions, people, places and events is truly remarkable. Wiggins can say more in one paragraph than the rest of us say all day. She has the gift of showing her readers what she really sees in glorious color and emotion with an economy of words that is astounding. This is the first work of Marianne Wiggins that I have read, and am so impressed I will find and buy her two previous books, John Dollar and Evidence of Things Unseen as soon as possible. Eloquent and moving! Best book I have read this year! Bravo! Wiggins has a wondrous skill! Artistry with the written word!
