Hello Rawan, Its is 8.19am here and i am not a morning person as I read your note I was trying to delete another and delete yours by mistake, I had read it so can reply. Air con in England! never saw it when I was there but maybe its global warming LOL Were we are living in Cincinnati it is very hot in ther summer although yesterday we were in the 80's and it was pleasant. Now this morning is our first cold morning and I do not like it. I am feeling the cold as I get older LOL never thought I would ever say that. We spent many hours in the book store yersterday and it was like a fridge there, I left my husband and wandered out into the sunshine to get warm.How long are you planning to stay in England? I miss England these days and did not get back this year. Maybe next year I will be there. I will go and make us some tea. Enjoy your day.

Hello Rawan, Is it only a week since we met? time does fly. I thought I would see how you are and what you are reading. I just finished 'Jane Eyre' again. I was reading it again for one of the groups, and am happy I did as its surprising how things look so different. I first read 'Jane Eyre' when I was about fifteen, and thought it a romantic love story, it is but much more. I have now become very interested in the life of the Bronte sisters, oh such a remarkable family. A study themselves, their mother dying so young and leaving all these talented children behind. I have got very wrapped up in thier life story.Are you reading anything interesting at the moment? how is the weather in England..pretty bleak. It is so hot here in Cincinnati. Our temps always in the 90's and 80's, very few pleasant days in the 70's which I like however my cold English blood seems to have adapted. You must tell me how how you like or dislike England as there are pros and cons.I am going to take my book into the garden and find a nice shade tree. Take care.Sheila

Hello Rawan sorry I seem to get cut off when speaking with you yesterday. I came home and a note was still sitting here, think I forgot to send it. I was saying I go to England each year in February (air fare is cheaper) to visit my eldest son and his wife, he is an architect working in Oxford. Then the rest of my family one brother three sister and my 95 year old father live about 70 miles north of Oxford on the east coast. It gets me away from our cold winters and a chance to see my family. England has changed so much since I left unfortunatly for the worse not the better, so much petty theft there I can not remember England being like that. Oh well everything changes and I do love going back so can not be that bad. Every time I go home the day my flight comes in about 8.30am in the morning the sun is shinning and I see the green pastures and the sheep grazing, oh a lump comes to my throat and I feel I am home again, the one person I love so much is no longer living and I miss her so much, my mother.Had a wonderful childhopd and fond memory,s, I began writing some shorts stories and hope to continue as soon as I am back on my feet. Thanks for writing to me and do let we know how you like England.Take care, Sheila
