I’m originally from Cleveland, Ohio and ended up in North Carolina by way of Syracuse, NY. What I wanted to do was work in theater - and, oddly enough, I am. This means I should have a day job, which could be anything from waiting tables to office management to engineers depending on who you ask what they do. I’ve become a database geek with... more »

thanks to DearReader, I found this one for a bit of fun. While it was supposedly a big technology/modern day romance, there wasn't considerable tech babble - which could be good or bad depending on the reader. It's nice to see a bit of story of redemption of a childhood accident. It had it's sweet moments but a quick read.

Three light stories for Regency-era. As with many of these multiple author offerings, some stories hit better than others with different effect and resonance with the reader, but a good way to get an introduction to a few different styles.

It's a little too light, think My Big Fat Greek Wedding warm-up for a girl with an Indian heritage. Naive lass keeps following the program everyone has for her except listening to her parents' choice in a man.

This is a great introduction to King's series. I was introduced to this by my family as they all have ravenously read each novel. When I needed something to have in the car and this was available in audiobook, I grabbed it and it was worth it. I've since been willingly handed all of the rest. I'm working on clearing out my backlog, so they're sitting nicely waiting for me. I suggest reading them in chunks, as the story lends itself to that. Enjoy
