    Had some good people for Mania: Garth Stein "Art of Racing in the Rain" supposed to be great so is "Guernsey Literary Society..." 's Anne Barrows. I'll probaly go to "Lycans" by myself. Saw "Grand Turino" with Sue. Great!

    Brrrrr! If that makes you feel better. We're into our second day of not being able to finish the crates. Snowbirds are here and they are ravenous. Bookmania is this weekend. It's really cold tonight. How are you and the puppies? Would love pictures any time. Miss you at the movies "Rise of the Lycans" this weekend?

    Hey there! Hope you had a good Christmas. I am trying to work but all I can think about is going on vacation in a few days- we are going on a cruise. =) Too funny with your mom getting a macaw, would she like a cockatoo- he is driving us nuts with the screaming. How are things going with you? I can't remember if you ended up buying a house or not. I'd love to get together when you are here next. Have a Happy New Years!

    Did you hear anything about the house you bid on? I can't say I really miss the adult collection development, I'm still doing the kids and YA. It gets a little less fun when you have less money to order with and you get more patron complaints. Things are a bit crazy- definitely keeping busy with all the work being passed around. But I don't mind it- I love working with the kids and teens! What do you guys do with the Teen Council? I have been wanting to start a Teen Advisory Group but it always seemed that the teens who came when Amy was donig it really didn't have a whole lot of input to give. How do you structure your meetings to keep it interesting to them? Miss you too- you'll have to let me know when you will be in Florida again so we can meet up.

    Yup, that's Sonny. We had to get rid of our blue and gold macaw a few months ago because he needed way more attention than we could give him. But we still have our cockatoo.

    Things are going good- I'm training Ann in the collection position so it will be soon that I only have to do one job. I'm looking forward to it. How about you? Are you still enjoying your position? Any new house hunting going on?
