Hi...Mamdani's book is probably one of the best books I had gone through on the West vs Islam issue....but I guess it is not a beginners book on the issue.....one should probably read the book after going through basics on the topic.....and ofcourse I dont know which part of the world u r in....if u r in delhi u can find Joe Sacco in the oxford book store at the Barakhamba road....

Hi are you a photographer? Are you in JA or have a link to JA?
Cancer Vixen is beautiful and brilliant, whether you have been touched by cancer or not. I recommended it to a friend of a friend going through a second round of breast cancer and she said the book was what kept her going. It's available in the US, which is where I got it. But I doubt it will reach JA.

If you are a fan of RHCP, then Scar Tissue is worth a read. Admittedly, a lot of the book is about casual drugs/sex (and the not so casual), but it is a really open account of his life. The best parts for me were the explanations to how and why he wrote some of the songs, and the more reflective latter part of the book. It’s not the greatest written book ever, but a captivating read nevertheless.
