I will read the labels on cans if nothing else is available. Lots of non-fiction, especially nature, science. Mysteries, Sci Fi for light reading. I will often put one mystery or novel by an author on my shelf to stand in for a series or body of work. That way I don't have to work as hard, and browsers don't have to wade through as much semi-redundant material. Many of the juvenile titles are books I remember from my youth (only a few years past), but all are books I've revisited recently.

One star = really poor, may not have finished it.

Two stars = didn't enjoy

Three stars = good read, recommend

Four stars = very enjoyable or worthwhile

Five stars = seldom given. books that made an impact
