I am a stay at home mother of two girls and have been married to my dear husband for 11 years. I have always loved to read. I have read a lot of Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Iris Johansen, and quite a few others. I stumbled on to Stephanie Myers out of curiosity and I was bitten. I had never read vamp books before and I was hooked. I blazed through the entire series and when I was finished I was thirsty for more ;[. I stumbled across J.R. Ward and Lara Adrian and oh my oh my was I hooked. I had never read romance before because I always craved action and suspense. Oh me oh my what I had been missing. All I could say is wow. At first I craved the serious kick butt action and I stumbled across Karrelyn Sparks….her humor lead me to Michelle Bardsley. I am loving everything vamp (my lil ones think I am crazy and so does my hubby). You might notice that I read multiple books at once (hey I read multiple subjects in college so I could read multiple novels if I want), people think that is weird. I go through a book about every 3 days…who needs soaps when you have great books. The only problem with that is that I can’t clean the house, fold clothes and read at the same time. Needless to say my housekeeping is losing the battle over reading. I wish I was this diligent about reading when I was in college.
I have managed to turn – I mean hook many of the teacher’s at my DD’s school to my vamp book affliction. In my spare time I enjoy volunteering for my DD’s school/sports, photography, scrapbooking, grown up time with my hubby, and of course you guessed it reading.
I am so excited about this site. I stumbled upon it as I was looking for my old cellie group for all you Black Dagger Brotherhood gals. I look forward to the exchange of info and meeting all the other avid readers out there.
