Hmmm...something about myself? I obviously love love to read! My weakness is Fantasy and SciFi, but I find myself truly satisfied by books from various genres. Favorites range from Pride and Prejudice to the God of Small Things to 100 Years of Solitude to the Dark Tower Series.

LOVED IT!!!! The best book I've read in a long time! It was like Jane Austen came back to life and rewrote a book. The writing is what held me at the beginning, and the characters and plot development is what kept me racing through the book. I loved every page of it and can't wait to get a chance to read it again!

Considering it was Rand's first, I thought it was really good. It is much shorter than her others, but still conveys her opinions and views on society. It is tough to get through, because so much of it is very depressing, but she is very clear with her thoughts and the character development I thought was great.

I actually really liked Next, and although its not his best book, its definitely better than most. It is really saturated with facts and science, as are most of his books. You definitely need some understand of biology to follow a lot of it. But as far as weaving a plot with facts and a clear statement (beware of rising technology and its ethical issues), I think he did really well this time!

absolutely loved it! one of the best fantasy books i've read in a long time, the characters are so real and the plot is new and refreshing after all the recent attempts to come up with a new twist on fantasy!

well written, the story's pace was great. The author took a really serious situation and all the consequences decades after and pulled it into a plot that flowed really well. Not life-changing, but a good read.

i did not understand the point of this book...it skipped tens of years at a time without any explanation and there was no purpose to the plot.

the book that started it all for me! read it in elementary school and have been a sci fi geek ever since! a great intro to the genre as well as science in general; I love the characters and all the ideas behind this adventure-filled story!

absolutely lovely! guessed the identity early on, but it only made the book better! if you like little women, pride and prejudice or any other type of these era novels, you'll love it!
