Books give a diffrent perspective to life.
Even though Television and Internet have attempted to totally engulf my life I still end up reading some or the other book.

Yes tht is true... In that sense the stories were quite similar ... but the emotional quotient was so high tht everyone liked both the books...

yes thts an amazing book...and the best part is that both the books 'Kite Runner'
and 'Thousand splendid suns', though talk about so much of sadness and hardships
but end on a positive note... thts wht i liked the best...

I read the Fountain Head many years ago and was not impressed with Ayn Rands Objectivism philosophy and thought Howard Rourk (that was his name if I remember right) would have been a real drag of a guy to hang around with. Rand is a right wing freak and she would probably be a drag to hang with as well.
