I'm a romance junkie. Once I pick up a historical novel I have a hard time putting it away. I love romance, mystery and adventure with the perfect dashing gentleman or rugged good hearted cowboy. I wish real life was full of happy endings like I read of in books.

in my opinion, it was the best of the entire series, but i haven't read the one you loaned me yet. still, number three was great. i thought four was okay, but meg just didn't act the way she did in books two and three. any other good series you're reading lately?

hey, girl. i have sort of an odd question to ask. i REALLY want to read the Naked Duke series, but our library doesn't have them, and i'm really short on money right now since i'm out of a job still. if you still have them, could you mail them to me to borrow, and when i'm finished, i'll mail them back with a check to cover your mailing cost? i know that might seem really weird, but other than buying them, i can't find them. even our book exchange doesn't have them! :( let me know if that would be feasible for you. if not, i totally understand! no worries! i hope you're having a great weekend!

    Hey Girlie,
Since it's another night of not sleeping, I looked at your read pile on your shelf (I think this shelfari has become my night time friend). Looks like we've read alot of the same books. I loved Nora Hess's stories. I read them years ago but I remember she was one of the authors I read one of her books and just had to have more there are several other authors on your shelves that I've read over the years. I originally started with historical romances and have gradually changed gendres. I still love to read new historical romance stories that are great so if you read a good one let me know. I've always been intrigued by the higlands, Ireland, cowboys, indians.... My husband would tell me if you want to read about history, read nonfiction. Well he never understood then and still doesn't understand why I read....Oh well, sorry for be so longwinded have a great day and TTYL

Hi, I'm really not trying to be a pest - but I just checked into that Shelfari Questions group I told you about. I looked for the discussion that mentioned the apostrophe problem. The discussion is one by the admin: Have A Question (new and improved FAQ); I had to scroll down almost to the bottom, maybe only 1/2 inch left on that bar), to Amanda (she's the admin). She'd noted there the HTML code needed to be placed in the title, and that would result in the apostrophe allowing people to respond and to read the replies.

Otherwise, it's a fault on my end; hope it's okay that I posted to you.

Sarahann, I don't belong to this group - maybe I will later, though; it's an interesting one, to me. Anyway, I was just browsing through and went to a discussion, tried to reply/read a thread and couldn't. Is that because I'm not a member? I know that, in one of the groups I'm part of (Shelfari Questions, I think it is), someone posted that having an apostrophe in a group's title poses some problems, but not having had to concern myself with that I had little interest in it. Now, I'm wondering if your group (because of that apostrophe) is experiencing a problem - or is it just me? By the way, I l-o-v-e the avatar!)
