Adriana is at the top of her game! The story is written to honor her past, more than that it tells what she is made of. I read this story with book in hand and the downloaded copy of the audio on my iPod. For days I was one with the story and enjoying the voices in Italian, the names of the characters as well the cities and the food. The combo was beautiful as well as the story it told of life, love, family and all in between. Le migliori prestazioni!!!! I recommend to all who appreciate a good book, and the art of telling a good story, no make that a Bellissimo Story!

...I read parts fo this when I was in college.
However, since Tyler Perry has turned the play, book, poetry
into a motion picture I would like to reintroduce myself to the book.
I hope that everyone hits the theater on this one.

It's Danielle at her best, combining history with fiction and blending it well....
It is a true DSteele love story with an edge of uncertainty...
Enjoy it...it is an easy read.

    ....After all these years.
Reading the book was like catching up with old friends.
I enjoyed it and I look forward to the next book the third of the story.
Terry's book was warm and comfy, but with all that was going on it could
have gone on for another 200 pages....oh what am I saying, that is the next book!
