I've always loved books...
One of my favorite childhood memories was walking up "all those steps" to the Philadelphia library to get a book.
I still enjoy the library and make it there at least once a week. I just love being in there! It was a recommendation of the staff that I try audio books a few years ago, and after one book I was hooked. It is a story that can ride with me in the car. Some readers are actors and the story comes alive with their voices. I enjoy an open road and a good book!
I am always reading 3 to 4 books at a time, a self help, spiritual, or motivational, something that is just a silly love story, a best seller and something recommended by the library or book club. There is a book in the car, one on the bed, sometimes 2 and there is always a stack of 2 to 3 to read next.
I belong to a book club here in Fairfax Virginia, and I have many friends who read that I share with.
I've enjoyed this site since joining the site in August 2009. It's a great way to keep recored, and not buy a book again when it comes out in paperback!
I have joined another book club that meets my fancy too. This one not only has a passion for books, but also wine. What a great combination, one of my favorites!
