    To Fetch a Thief

Really enjoyed this addition to the Chet and Bernie mysteries. Chet can be such a crack-up. This wasn't as much of a roller coaster ride as the first book but still a solid fun read. The audio version was great.

    The Monster's Ring

Bruce Coville is one great children's writer. Easy to read, short (about 100 pages) and page turning caliber. This was a tale with a plot and a wonderful ending. Not quite as good as the first Coville book I read but really great fun.

Best Science Fiction and Futuristic Romance

I never heard of her but I searched audible and they have only one: Collision Course. It sounds really interesting. I hope you enjoy them and it helps with the slump!Yep, I felt comfortable...

bogiewine: LOL... I am definitely one of those people! But I'm also one not to risk further investment if a book 1 doesn't grab me. So GTK then. It picks up at book 3? Maybe I should start with something else by her then to get a better sense. It looks like there are some stand-alones.

Liz (Bugetta): I didn't used to be one of those people, but I definitely am now. :) The ones on this list are my favorites, though I did read Games of Command most recently and I loved the hero in that book. Plus, there the heroine and her friend have furzels (which are basically cats) and you get some of the story from their perspective. :) Darn! Now I want to re-read it. I wish her stand alone... Liz (Bugetta):

Have you read anything by Zoe Archer? She has two sci fi romances that I think I'll read soonish. They're shorter Carina Press books and I'm in this stupid reading slump, so I'm trying shorter, more action filled romances.

That's a good rule, but not one I've stuck to. I'm such a collector I always want all the books, especially if they're on sale. :-D Of course that doesn't mean I've actually read many book twos, threes, etc... of the series I've started. *sigh* Lol! It definitely is an addiction and I'm right there with you. My name is Liz, and I'm a bookaholic! :)

Very Aidan Chambers, I am definitely starting to understand his writing style. Not sure about how much I enjoyed the book, but I enjoyed the writing voice.

I love to read just about everything. Kahlil Gibran, Dean Koontz, Philippa Gregory, David Moody and Jonathan Maberry. I seem to be in a dystopian mood lately. There is soo many books to read and not enough time. I'm usually reading two to three books at a time. The feel of a book, the smell and...
