Sorry folks, I'm going to be cutting down on the number off groups I'm in ... again. It's really an ego boost to be invited to so many groups but the number of icons that I have to scan through is just too much. Sorry folks, I'm going to be cutting down on the number off groups I'm in ... again. It's really an ego boost to be invited to so many groups but the number of icons that I have to scan through is just too much. Last time, though, I ended up accidentally deleting myself out of a group I'd intended to stay in. I hope that doesn't happen again.
Please note that I'm too lazy to go back through and note whether I've read, I'm in the middle of, or I've not yet read, etc. my books. I think they are all noted as having been read. That is correct for about 95% of the books. The rest of them are in the "in midst of" category and may stay in that category for a long while.
Most books on my Shelfari bookshelf are books on my real bookshelf or those I've read from my daughter's bookshelf. I've just started to go back to borrowing books from the library so they'll start showing up soon too :) They are almost entirely fiction books and are not all tagged. It's doubtful that my non-fiction books will be listed anytime soon.
I keep myself busy with my family, my work (in architecture), and my reading Yahoo/Shelfari groups. I'm a co-owner of four of those groups and a co-moderator on 6 others. Babecakes is a general reading group that exists both in Yahoo and Shelfari. It is an 18 + group although it's rare that anything "adult" is ever discussed. The Paranormal Mystery Shelfari group is new as of November 2007. It's taken off surprising well. I guess I wasn't the only one that felt a need for the group. I am also helping with the administrative duties of a really fun non-reading focused group called Women of Lore.
