I saw you read the Law of Attraction. Overall, I agree with it and see very ittle difference in that and the teachings/religious upbringing of my childhood. Truths are truths.

    Hi raaj,
'Our iceberg is melting' is a good read which i would definitely recommend. Simple and powerful story, well-written to help one understand and manage change in their lives. Hope you enjoy the book.

    Hello....

I'm definitely passionate about books. I rarely throw away any books - come to think of it, I can't ever recall throwing away a book. I've lost loads of books though - lending them to people that didn't return them. Very, very annoying - especially when the books are not easy to find! :-(

    Hey there,

Actually I went to the bookstore a couple of days back and bought new books -so just HAD to start on those (I know, I know.... I'm like a little child with a new toy. :-)) Anyway, so I read Eats, Shoots and Leaves (but abandoned it halfway when it got too repetitive). Am currently reading The Tao of Physics which so far is quite interesting - although the parallels the author tries to draw between science and mysticism / religion are too vague, I thought.

Hi - I see you have some of my friends in your list ...I'm a fairly eclectic reader - not really into non fiction. You only have a couple of books on your shelf, so dont know if we share the same taste in books.

    Hi Raaj,

I'm currently in the middle of Freakonomics, so here's my take on the book so far. If you love Economics - don't read the book - you'll find it boring, irreverent and absolutely irrelevant. Since I'm not what you'd call a 'fan' of the subject, I quite liked the theme. The tongue-in-cheek style is cool. All-in-all it's been a nice read but it does get a little tedious as you go along. Hopefully it gets more interesting as I read further....
