I have had poetry published in various publications, such as "Grab The Queen Power" and other such online and offline publications...In July 2005, a book of my poetry was published and can be found, at my website (local biz alliance) and at places such as Amazon and B&N, "Uncovering My Eyes" A collection of poetry, under the penname of BK Scarlet. .
I am also, looking forward to an upcoming Anthology of Poetry that I helped to put together, that will donate, all its sales to "The Children's Wish Foundation."
My hobbies include crafts, a website for writers and poets and a yahoo group that is also of the same name "Writers&Poets."
I love so many things in this life, but what is on the top of my list are my Kids, husband and pet's and all other family members and true friends. Then of course, there is my passion for words and using words to express myself and express things for others.
My editing and writing partner Robin Stansbury and I are currently orchestrating another anthology for publication and our current charity for that books, sales will go to "The Vanished Children's Alliance."
We have begun asking for submissions, which will be considered donations, from the selected poets, which submit their poetry for the book.
If you, or anyone you know, would like to submit poetry to be considered in this anthology, please email submissions to bflorea@comcast.net
with "The Vanished Children’s Alliance Poetry Submission," in the subject line.

The Writers-N-Poets group is always looking for writers and poets to join and exchange conversation, work and information, so please feel free to join up.
I know there is still a lot for me to learn when it comes to writing and the business of writing. I am one who would rather be creative then business. However, and unfortunately, there is no getting away from the business of writing, if you intend on publishing and getting your published work bought.
The group is casual, yet serious in helping each writer/poet in whatever they need. I also post markets, freelance gigs and contests to the group, when I come across such things in my endless search for paying and non-paying writing jobs.
This type of posting usually happens about once a week or so in the group. I also, post such things on my myspace website as well.
