I am facilitator a book club, the Sistahs of Color Reading Group in Little Rock. We currently have 20 members ranging in age from the late 20s to 80+. We have been together for eleven years and love getting together and discussing what each of us are are reading. The reading choices are as diverse as the ages, personalities and backgrounds; however, because of this, we've all been exposed to books and authors we might have never read or known about.

The books listed on My Shelf are books that I have read and kept for my Personal Library so that I can/do/will reread them when the mood hits me. The books I own are currently in my evergrowning TBR/Must Read pile, on my kindle, and nook.

I enjoy hearing and reading what others have read and are recommending. Other than reading, I also cross stitch, rubber stamp,collect bookmarks, bears, and travel. Whenever I travel, I am always looking for a bookstore in order to find out what's on their shelves related to African American books and authors of color. « less
