This was excellent reading material, I love the struggle that Randall went though. He was dealing with woman who was unsaved and was plan evil. She manipulated him and turn him away from God, but no matter what the enemy did to him he refused to let the enemy take him. If yourself going thought a diff ult time , you can be inspired by his story.

  • Angry Ass Black Woman

I really enjoy this book. I love this book very much and forgive me because I have a lot to say lol. My review of An Angry Ass Black Woman by Karen Q. Miller.
Growing up inHarlem for Karen was hard , but she also had a leaning experience.  She had people in her life and around her that contribute to this country ;during the 70s.  I also  noticed that out of the four siblings that Ke Ke had , Joe T and Her did make something out of themselves,  I think it was because when they were children they stuck together thought everything, evening support each other dreams.  The other two sibling  had terrible stragergy which lead them to give up on hope. Even with the support of Ke Ke. It seem like that couldn't fine their own  way.

What I was so confused about was that Ke Ke's mom, she wanted her children  do get good education  but gave Ke Ke  permission to drop out of school.  Her mother knew that Ke Ke and her sibling was dealing with a lot of political and races issue.  And thought was best from the learn through life.

Ke Ke had  a lot of positive people in Her  life such as her  bother Joe T,  Bruice, her mother, Madame,  and the big time gangster (who I can't remember his name)  I think that these people where the greatest  influence that she kept her going. There are a lot people that we in counter during  our life, but if you have a few people who stuck it out thought hard times. It really has an  impact on  someones life  Ke Ke had turning point where she was sexually assaulted and it was upsetting to  me because, how black women are label in America society has an effect on them.  With all the racism  she dealt with she became more of bitter resentment to the outside world. The reason I called it bitter was because with all the hope she had, she lost it.  Angry to me is okay to feel, but also something you got over with.

My perspective to Mrs Karen's story is that she didnt. The way people did her wrong or hurt some one she deeply love ( like her bother David)  she make them feel same way. The best example I could use was her fighting. She said if she knew someone was about kick ass she defiantly make sure she kick their ass first.

Now later in her life, her birth of her daughter and the tragedy of dig nosed with a brain tumor, I realized that she was just angry because she got back her hope to push her through.

This book is amazing . I got the same feeling I did with the first one, anger, frustration, and sad. However Tyrell really show how much of man he is and how much of man that he doesn't wanna be like his father. He never gives up on anything he has set his mind two instead he deals with his problems and handles it. I know in the real world it's like that especially for alot of young black boys growing into manhood.

i love this book, better then the first one. The powerment of women really open my eyes and help me to realize that women all over are strong face the same problems every women faces, but just in different way. Joy was just a young Chinese girl who thinks she knew what she want and knew everything about the world. she ends up running away to china to find her really father, her mother and aunt have been keeping family sercets that end up in a disater. Now Joy's mother Pearl is on the quest to get her back to America, her real home, however in china during the communist era is not that easy to fine away back to America.

I Love this book, it really brought a powerful meaning. And The different point of view of what it is like to be a black woman working for a white family. As being african American i never thought about how my ancestors felt about that. and i thought how would white american veiw it as well. i was very disappointed with the book ending but i realized they all had an unqiue future. Writing the book brought a neww perspective, but what got me really angry, think this white family would realized how they really treat theri maid and maybe something inside them will change, but it never did. i gues thats racism for you.
