I love the blues and I love Memphis. I enjoy suspense and mystery novels, women's lit, and music books.

I like Kay Hooper books, too. How does the "Blood" series compare to the other ones she has written? Have a great weekend, too!!!

I'm reading Coben's "Tell No One" and am finding it hard to put down! If all his books are like that I'll have to read every one of them. Thank you for the offer of borrowing books - much appreciated! John Sanford's Lucas Davenport series is among my faves - haven't read the last one yet but I found it at a book sale last week and am eagerly looking forward to it. I also found the book "From Baghdad, With Love". Hope it isn't sad. If you want to borrow it, let me know. Happy Thanksgiving!

    Hi !
What did you think of "Heat Lightning"? I just picked up a couple of Harlan Coban - haven't read any of his yet but they always seem to get good reviews so I thought I would give them a try. Been trying to find some new authors because lately it seems as if all my favorites' latest haven't been that good.
    Take care!

A lot of authors are losing me when it comes to series. I love John Sanfords Prey series but he lost the storywhen he spent too much time on introducing the characters "family"-now there is too much time spent on family drama instead of the building the suspense of the crime story. Then James Patterson has so many books out with different co-authors its hard to keep up, so much so that he has lost the art of storytelling (to me) and I hate his 2 or 3 page chapters.

Stopping by to say hello and I see you've added PC-Book of the Dead. I read that about a month ago and I love her writing the Scarpetta line but I wish she would fix the Marino situation..it was kind of sad. What did you think?
