Your are right Mark about Christianity being the one true religion, if you can call Christianity a religion. You are also right by saying that Christianity is more about a relationship than a religion, and Jesus is the only way to have a saving relationship with God. Thanks, Mark. Regarding Fox News, it is one of many. The difference is that unlike other TV new channels Fox admits it overall leans right. Most of the other news channels pretend objectivity. Pundits on both sides cherry pick quotes to make their points. Our system is imperfect, but that's what the first amendment is about. I would defend MSNBC as vigorously as I would Fox if there was a move to silence them by force of law. If they come after Fox, they'll come after the papers. If they come after the papers they'll come after talk radio. If they come after talk radio they'll come after webcasters. If they come after the web sites they'll come after private blogs. I'd rather let my idiot neighbor I find irritating, agrivating and flat out wrong speak his mind than have him silenced. I'm all for vigorous debate and frank disagreement, but when someone says the other guy should be silence, we go from liberty to tyrrany. I for one am not ready to surrender liberty to the cause of political correctness, no matter what label its proponents give it.

Mark, I agree with what you wrote above. My husband is very strong willed about everything but church. He just goes when he wants to. He serves when he's ask. He's on the board of the Salvation Army. I didn't know about your health problems. I pray you are better now.

The New Year is upon us again. With 2011 arriving we would like to wish everyone a Very Happy New Year. May the Lord be with you all in 2011 and continue to lead you and guide you in His ways.

Wherever you are in the world, our God does not change. He is always available to help and counsel you. As Jesus promised, “If I go, I will send you another Counselor, even the Spirit of Truth, he will be with you forever and will lead and guide you into all truth"...... "And the truth will make you free".

I don't know what your needs are, what you need to be free from, whether sickness, sin, fear, poverty, sadness...... (You fill in the blank space). Jesus is the answer for ALL of your needs. God says "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest".

I could relay to you many things that have happened this last year, of people saved from their sins, those born again, those healed of disease, sickness and cancer, those released from oppression and proving that God is true to that promise that Jesus made. Gleaned from the many letters from all over the world, the message is the same that our God is real and is working in the lives of the people of this world, making the vital difference that takes people from misery to joy. He is the one who gives victory over evil and peace where there was only turmoil before. All we have to do is trust him and ask Him to supply what we need.

I have had such a wonderful year and it's because the God we have is such a dependable God. He always provides, protects and teaches us. He is ALWAYS faithful.

I trust that this year you will join with the many millions of believing Christians all over the world. Not the nominal Christians who just call themselves Christian but the people who really believe what their God tells them and accepts what He has promised and hold on to see it come to pass. There are millions proving that God is very real in their lives and actually doing what he has promised.

Trust in Him. He will NOT let you down.

The Lord bless you and be with you.

I understand your pain. My Mother has been suffering with Sarcoidosis for many many years, but in spite of the bad days because of her faith she gets thru it. The information out there is very limited but I"m constantly researching. As I gain more knowledge I will pass it on to you. Let's continue to pray for a break-thru!!!
