What a good idea! I am going to make a "list" right now!
You're right, this particular thread belongs on Shelfari, so I've moved it here. :-)I totally recommend "Lolita." This is my second time reading it, and it's even better than the first time. It's such a rich text! So allusive, both high brow and low brow. And don't be put off by the subject matter. Nabakov handles it deftly. The man was just a brilliant writer. Exciting to hear that you're reading Eco. Funnily enough, I haven't read any of his fiction in years. I should check it out again. Too much critical theory. And unfortunately, I'm hopelessly behind in "House." ::hides::
You've started adding books. I'm warning you, there's no turning back! ::cackles:: Lovely to see you here!
