Very intriguing. I love to know the origins of names in other languages.
My name Keta (kee-ta) is a deriivitive of Kate or Kathryn. My mother liked the name Kate, but decided to scramble the letters at the last minute, thus Keta.
We have one thing in common so far (I'm sure we have our love of books in common too). Kathryn means Pure and my middle name "celeste" means heavenly.
