    Thx for your note about the book. Will try to get it. I see you are interested in Indian history and have read Basham's 'The Wonder that was India'. It's one of my favorite books. You should try to read 'The Case for India' by Will Durant, published by Strand Book Stall, Mumbai and Bangalore.

    Just saw your review of "A Thousand Splendid Suns" and just wanted to say how nice it was to see a reaction exactly like mine! I would add that he's really not good at writing women characters--a pile of cliches.
    Anyway, hope your next book is better!
