Potterphreaque

I'm a book-lover. That's basically what I show most of the times, on the surface. Because that's basically what I really am.

I personally think Eragon was way better than Eldest. I enjoyed Eldest, tho, practically because I'm not a THAT good of a writer myself, but somehow the dialogues weren't much engaging as how I found those in the first book were. Unrealistic, that's how they felt, to me. It felt like it was being written by a person different than the Paolini who wrote Eragon, the innocence was no longer there. But the story was enjoyable, anyway. There were parts that bored me, not much humor to laugh at and Roran was too Katrina-sick I couldn't really like him. But I like the Glaedr-and-Saphira moments in the book. And Saphira is basically the only character that kept me sticking to the story. I'd recommend this title to any fantasy-loving readers who wouldn't mind amateur storytelling anytime.

I've heard of this title when I was really young, and I've read the Bahasa Melayu version of it. To me, it was awesome. I read the original version when I was in my teens, and I couldn't help loving it even more. So what if it was cynical? It was a fun read, anyway.
