Published author, editor, illustrator, teacher, and National Art Award Recipient. Born with a birth defect (Arthrogryposis) and as a result is confined to a motorized wheel chair. She types all her manuscripts using a mouth-stick held between her teeth (29 cwam). Her art work is done by holding a pen in her teeth.
Authored six books, written regular columns for newspaper and online sites, and numerous articles for other publications. Served as marketing specialist for 7 years, clients included Lincoln Financial, John Hancock, etc., writing scripts and conducting telemarketing for financial planners from her home office. Taught writing classes for local college on the following subjects: Introduction to Poetry, Writing Memoirs and Family History. Edited and done desktop publishing of writings by her students, along with instructed online writing workshops. Instructed promoting, advertising, and marketing workshops for published authors on a national level.
PhD candidate (Biblical Studies) at Northwestern Seminary. Honor graduate (Magna Cum Laude) of Northwestern Theological Seminary with a Masters degree in Theology, Graduate of Salisbury State University in Maryland with a Bachelors degree in Psychology, and an Associates degree in Religious Education from School of the Bible in California. Accounting diploma from Woodrow Wilson Business School in Virginia. Studied writing with Writer’s Digest School and attended a number of writer’s workshops and conferences.
