The day after I graduated high school I moved to Los Angeles and attended Los Angeles City College's Theater Arts Department, performing in many of their plays while also performing in local theater. I then moved to New York, where I performed with The... more »

Hey Phil, you're probably right about the name either being pronounced differently or having a different meaning in Norwegian. In any event event, Nesbo thinks of some really bizarre ways of killing people.

I forgot to mention my short story collection "The New Neighbor" will also be available as a free download at the same time as my novel. All but one of the stories are dark and one story, "The Kingsman" is my only attempt at horror. Not sure if you enjoy poetry but my collection of poems, "Your Voice Spoke to My Ear" is will also be available for a free download at the same time.

The darkest ones are, the misleadingly named "Grandma ma", "Office Politics" and "The Day I Lost My Mind". The poem, "The Coyote's Den" is part of a Civil War Anthology.

Maybe these can occupy your time during a long holiday weekend... : - )

Phil, I notice that we have some of the same reading interests. Jo Nesbo is one of my favorite writers. As a writer myself I can't imagine having the courage to name my leading character, Harry Hole. Only a great writer can do that.

You might enjoy reading my novel, "Aquarius Falling",it is a beach scene with noir aspects. It will be available as a free Kindle download November 23 & 24. I hope you can take advantage of the opportunity and if you enjoy it will give it a review.

Phil, I admire the way you keep reinventing yourself, creatively speaking. I've done a bit of that, too. Thanks for the follow!

Hi, Phil. I grew up in Ashtabula, Ohio, and was a professor at Case Western Reserve in the 70's. I've written a novel (first in a trilogy) about the 70's, slightly paranormal, cerebral romantic suspense. Home Schooling: The Fire Night Ball Pleae consider a mutual follow. Thanks!
