Hello Pebbles, I read Shelfari has you as a member with Rev LaHaye’s Babylon Rising and would like to recommend another Christian Thriller, "The Diaries of Pontius Pilate.” It draws upon the author’s military background and has great reviews. “Diaries” is not a vanity or self-pub book, but is published by Trestle Press, a small independent press outside of Philadelphia under its imprint, My Helping Hands Press, that gave a Christian novel a chance. Full disclosure - I wrote it and hope you’ll give it a chance - on Kindle, Paperback, Nook or Kobo.
Best wishes, Joe Lewis www.josephmaxlewis.com
I've bought some books that I waited too long to read, and then when I tried to later, I couldn't stand them. So I felt HORRIBLE getting rid of them because I wasted my money. But now, I just don't have time to read ones I don't like, nor space to keep ones I don't like. Were yours gifts or have you just not been able to part with them?

Let me paint a picture with words:
You are in a forest with the sounds of a flowing brook nearby. A light breeze brings in the scent of pine trees and honeysuckles. You look up and hear a woodpecker on a nearby tree echoing through the woods and it brings a smile. Never having been on this forest path you follow a peculiar trail of roses that starts on the trail and leads off into the deeper woods. It’s a strange place for cultivated roses. One rose after another; they beckon you to follow them. The scent is light and wonderful, sparkles of purple float up from the flowers into the wind and drift off.
“What on Earth?” In a hole in an oak tree you find three small bottles of honey. A single drop of honey on your tongue is so sweet and delicious as if you haven’t eaten in a week.
“That is my honey.” The voice is a big one though not threatening.
You come face to face with the big red dragon. “Oh my.”
Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published every month it is a little discouraging. I didn’t think there were that many writers. But I continue to write and hope.
You have a nice shelf.
I hope you are reading lots of interesting books.
Knights of the Dragon:
Leander is under siege. It seems their wizard is dying. A dragon befriends a boy and hires knights to save his kingdom. Alexa is a match for any man, except perhaps for Stone; they’ve had eyes for one another for years, though neither will admit it. A dragon is born that turns out to be a wizard, a rare dragon indeed.
And there are whispers of a boy wizard.
It’s a tale of wizards, dragons, romance and knights.
