hi! I'm Paula. I'm 24. I spend most of my time with my besties while trying to make my little corner of the world a happier place. I've loved reading since I could pick up a book. When I was little my mom was always frustrated with me because I'd pick out books, bugs and shoes over all other... poor Barbies never had a chance. It still reigns true today... well minus the bug part. My favorite place to read is outside on a nice day sitting under an umbrella (usually with my humongous dog in my lap thinking he's still a little puppy). My favorite book genres are mysteries and romance, even better if you combine the two :) I'm slowly getting into the paranormal books such as Kissed by an Angel. My favorite book when I was little was Pippi Longstocking. I always wanted to be her because she was unafraid and adventurous.
A Hopeless Romantic stirred up my passion for reading again when I spotted the cover in a bookstore during a layover. Recently I found a huge used book store near by that I could live in. I wouldn't know what to do without it or the library cause I'd surely go broke if I had to buy all the books I read. I totally judge books by their cover. Most of my very favorite books have gorgeous covers. I'm an avid music listener because I love simple melodies and insightful lyrics. I'm one of those crazy people who like making soundtracks to books as I read them.
I believe prince charming still exists out there somewhere so until I have found my own love story, I'll live through my favorite books.

I despise the Twilight series (no offense twihards) but I just cannot get into the series. I have nothing against vampires they just aren't my kinda read. The world would be a boring place if we all liked the same thing. « less
