Fast paced, delves into Eve's background again - taking the final step to her mother. Best of some of the more recent of these books.

These continuation reads of Rachel Lee's Conard County series are just plain comfort reads. Not as fabulous as the original series, but geniune and unique in their own way. I always love to visit Conard County. This particular book is heavy on the characters working their way through heavy emotional situations and short on the action. Still it is more than worth the read - put your feet up and enjoy.

No strong plot thread through this, but still a good edition to the Virgin River series.

This book is vintage Linda Howard and very well done. The only reason I gave it only 4 stars is that it seemed a tad short, like she didn't have time to flesh out things as she usually does. Very good read. Enjoyed it.

Another solid addition to her Troubleshooters series. Ric and Annie were great characters, as was new addition Martell. Jules Cassidy is always a pleasure to see in her stories. This time his subplot and relationship with Robin almost overtook the main plot, but that worked for me as I've been rooting for some time for something positive to happen to Jules in the love department. Quick read for a Sunday afternoon and enjoyable.

  • Tanner's Scheme

I started Lora Leigh's Breed series when the first three were released into print and then rapidly went back and found all the others. I'm first in line to buy anything new. Tanner's Scheme did not disappoint. Just the right amount of action and friction blended with intense emotions that just lept off the page. Every time she took a tried and true path and I was waiting for the standard resolution, she'd twist and turn it another way. Scheme was a perfect match for Tanner and the development of the Breed world is unparalleled. Thanks Lora!
