Hello there, I see that you have really nice books, could you recommend one for me? I'm actually having a little trouble what to read. Anything would do, I'm not really picky when it comes to books and I think that's why I'm always having a hard time deciding what to read. ^-^

    Patricia,
I just wanted to let you know that I undid your edit to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets to add JK Rowling as the primary contributor. This is because the "book" you were looking at was actually a DVD; the real book is here: http://www.shelfari.com/books/11090/Harry-Potter-and-the-Chamber-of-Secrets . That DVD shouldn't even be on Shelfari, but it's one of the bugs the team is working on. If you have any questions, feel free to send me a note.
    Happy Reading!

    A moment like no other

This is truly your lucky day. For you are here to live it. This is a moment that is like no other. And it is here now, ready to be lived with all the fullness, all the richness you can imagine.
What is the most beautiful, wonderful, positive and fulfilling thing that you can imagine? Dare to imagine it, and dare to begin living the reality of it. For today, your most treasured dream is not only a real possibility for you, it will truly begin to take shape. Today you can imagine the best, and today is the day to start living it.

Though all sorts of obstacles may stand in your way, today there is nothing that can hold you back. For today you're able to fully experience the wondrous gift of life, with which anything is truly possible.

Look deep inside, and you'll have no doubt that this is most certainly a moment like no other, filled with extraordinary possibilities. You'll surely find what it takes to live this moment for all it's worth.

Thanks for helping to clean up the Shelfari catalog!

    About titles...

We don't include publisher information in either the title or subtitle lines.

We really like having the language noted, i.e. "(French)" but we put that directly on the title line following the title.

You'll see that I've edited your title change requests to reflect these conventions.

    Thanks again,

    BC

Bonjour Patricia, j'espère que tu va bien! How are things going for you? Have you been reading anything interesting lately? I recently discovered what the Millenium series is all about and will definitely try and get my hand on the first one, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. That is the series you were talking about? I'm finally done with Les Miserables and have but one thing to say: Jean Valjean! What an amazing story, hope you get the chance to, one day, experience it if it's not already done. I also read a great non-fiction book called Half the Sky, a must-read if you can find a copy!
Anyway, hope all is well for you,
    a la prochaine,

    e

Hi! I’m from the Canada group, just popping by to let you know that we are trying to drum up interest in doing a group read. We have a thread started for anyone who is interested to let us know they are interested. Once we know there will be a few people, we’ll then decide on a book (Canadian author, of course!). Hope you decide to join us!

D'accord, je prend note. J'ai terminer A Tale of Two Cities et ai beaucoup aimer, specialement Sidney Carton.
Tu as deja lu du Victor Hugo?

Et qu'est ce que tu lis de ce temps la?

J'ai de la famille en banlieue de Montreal, sur la rive sud. C'est une belle region.

    A bientot!
