An aunt who has always been sensitive and loving towards me gave me this book when I was in 2nd grade. I've treasured it since then, and taken joy in it's beautiful illustrations of fairyland. As a child, I used to refer to the book for inspirations for my own drawings. Thank you, Tia Carmen, for nurturing my love for books and fairies.

This book has sentimental value to me, as well as being a great reference on animation. My parents bought me this book when I first started drawing. I was fascinated with the way movies were made, and I tried to read up about it whenever possible. For months I visited this book at the bookstore, and then was overjoyed to receive it as a gift. I never tire of this book. It is a complete reference on how to make animated features with classical techniques. It's highly recommended to anyone interested in this art form.

This book is an excellent resource for illustrators and those interested in manga art. Each artist featured in it has their own interview and step-by-step instruction on their unique technique. It's also a beautiful book to browse through, as it's full of gorgeous artworks!
