There is a new group specifically for e-books. You request what you are looking for along with your email address and if anyone else has it, they will send it to you! Here is the link if you want to join...
Hey, just wanted to let you know we picked the Fever series for our next series to read at Vamps, Witches, and Weres & Kick A** Chicks Paranormal/Urban Fantasy Book Club. We are also voting on our Oct BOTM. I hope you'll join us and help us make a decision!
Thanks for the friendship request.
About Laurell K. Hamilton, I'm not bothered by the sex or the violence in her books. I don't know if its just me or that European are that way, but I always loved the darker stories....so I think that is why I loved the Anita Blake series so much. I haven't read the whole series yet, I've jus finished Narcissus in chains. But I've heard that the latest book are not that much....but I will see for myself when I get there.
As for the Gentry Merry series those I haven't read yet, so I cannot judge about those.
Which book is your favorite ?
Thanks for the request ! I love finding the naughty ones lol.. someone sent me a nasty note when I started posting that my avi was too suggestive because there were kids on this site. Honestly, I think it was the most conservative one I have had. It was a female angels back.. with a crucifix backwards. You saw nothing lol.. It was rather like, if you think this is bad, wait until next week lol
I just read your profile, and realized that we have even more in common than just the kind of books we read. I live in Virginia and have for most of my life, and am married to a man who is not from this country. My husband is from Bulgaria, and has been in this country since we married 7 years ago. We met online and were pen pals for quite a while, getting to know one another through emails and snail mail, pictures and phone calls, before deciding to meet in Europe on vacation. After a couple of years of corresponding and two weeks together in Europe we decided we wanted to get married, so went through the entire immigration process and finally married when he came over in 2002 on a Fiance visa. He really wanted us to live in Bulgaria, but I had my entire family here, as well as my son from my first marriage. He had only his parents and sister there, so we decided to live here, at least for now. We may go there when we retire, or someday in the future, but things are rougher there now than here with the economy the way it is. How did you meet your husband, if I might ask?
Hi Pat! Thanks for the friend request! I always love making new friends who love to read as much as I do! As for the Kindle, I'm afraid that I don't think (though I am not sure) there is any way to read your library's electronic library on the Kindle. You can read books not purchased by Amazon, but you have to set up an email account at Amazon for your kindle (which is free when you own a kindle) and send the file there to be altered to a file that the kindle reads, if it's not already in that form. Then they send that file to your kindle. There are also sites online that allow you to download their book files to your kindle for free. They are mostly classics, though. You might go to the Forums on Amazon for the Kindle and ask there about whether it is possible. They would know better than I would since I've never thought about it before. Wish I could be more help. Also, there is a discussion group called Kindle owners here at Shelfari, of which I am a member. I had a lot of my questions answered there when I first purchased my Kindle. You might ask that question there and get an answer. Here is the link: http://www.shelfari.com/groups/23042/about
