Reading is one of my favorite activities to do either alone or with a group of people, i.e. friends. I go through various periods of reading certain books non-stop; this includes skipping lunch and dinner and possibly sleep. I love diving into a new world that is far from the ordinary world I live every day. I love to be challenged and taken by the hand when it comes to learning new ideas and concepts. I love to read romance and science-fiction novels, which is the majority of the literature I read. I love to read classic literature as well, such as Gabriel Marquez Garcia, Edgar Allen Poe, and Emily Bronte. I like to read non-fiction, peotry, spanish literature, comedy, memoirs, and gothic literature.

Another favorite activity of mine is DANCING. I love to dance. I have danced ballet and modern for about five years. I have taken hip hop for a year or two. I just started taking Jazz and I love it completely! It's a big passion of mine, which is why I continue to dance despite having very few years of experience. My passion for dance started in my freshmen year in high school. I was a natural mover and so my dance teacher trained me and encouraged me to discipline myself in the art of modern dance and improvisation. Thanks to her I continued to discipline myself as a dancer.

I am fully hispanic youth. I am the oldest of three girls. I am originally from the West Coast- California. I study in the East Coast-Maryland. I am very short and petite!!!! But I still have a bit of strength for my size so do not underestimate me. I consider myself a writer as well. I love to write as much as I can, whether it be in a diary, journal or for academic courses. I try to write poetry when I can and it may not be the best poetry ever written I still find enjoyment writing it. Drawing is another activity I enjoy partaking. I draw along side my writings. « less
