“For Scandinavians/Danish readers:
This political essay is worth reading. The author, a young philosopher (and professional creative idea developer in a national bank) tries to appeal to the social responsibility with the readers. And he is doing quite well, I believe. As a Danish counterpart to Al Gore og Michael Moore, Albæk want to engage the reader, the reponsible adults by refocusing on the will and courage to actually DO like we SAY. By being honest, courageous, steadfast, a man of principles (unlike the former Danish prime minister, Anders Fogh Rasmussen), and by being the good parents who encourage our children to LISTEN, be steadfast and to say no. But not least daring to tell the truth to our children, in order for them to gain better coping abilities when growing up. He writes about the deep-grown Danish culture of cowardness, bringing up our children to not entering into conflicts and leading the lives as cowards. Hmm. I am not sure, my writing makes sense today, but nevertheless: Read this book if you're politically and/or morally inclined! :-)”
