I'm Alexis. I believe life is essentially supposed to be bittersweet. I have learned to appreciate both aspects. I adore simple things. I love that life can make you laugh and cry simultaneously. I tend to be very sarcastic and nostalgic and interested at least partly, in everything around me. I am so purely idealistic it is intriguing. I love to learn and I am quite fond of culture, details, poetry, quotes, and just words in general. It almost seems irrelevant to mention the fact that I love to write, however, I shall mention it nonetheless. I adore music, movies, stand up, and good company. Conversations, friends, and coffee are my most favorite things in life. I like emotions and people that express them without restraint. People fascinate me and the world inspires me. I try to value everyone and everything. I know there are power in words. I truly admire people with compassion, honesty, and humour. I look for those qualities in every human being I come into contact with. I enjoy art in all of it's forms. My mother says I am an art student in denial. I have no idea what I am truth be told. I am on a constant search for myself and my own truth. I believe in God, that helps a lot. I am very open minded, but also pretty opinionated. I dislike preconceived ideas and notions. I don't compromise myself for others. I'm a very analytical person with a huge imagination. I have much disdain for materialism as well as people who settle in problematic situations. I want to travel and fill my head and heart with knowledge that I could never gain from my homeland. I want truth, love, peace, and happiness. I believe and love all the possibilities that life presents us. I love my family and my friends. « less
