I'm 31 years old and my real name is Erick. I've been Christian for 9 years. My diet has been mostly vegetarian for about 10 years. Been playing guitar for about 13 years. Interests include religion, history, mythology, philosophy, psychology and music. A number of these books deal with apocalyticism and the combat myth. Those subjects are a special interest of mine.
I read a lot of books; some I agree with close to 100% and some less than that. If a book has more truth than error I usually consider it a good read unless I feel that the errors are intentionally devious or careless. Most of what I read is by authors who are at least nominally Christian or books that touch upon my biblical studies in some way; at least what I read nowadays. Hence, I've only included books on my shelf that I have read in the past 8 years and ones that I have a physical copy handy.
PanoramicRomantic is kind of my music moniker (if I ever am able to get my music together -sigh). Panoramic (from the Greek word pan: all, and horama: sight) is a comprehensive view and romantic (old French: romantique) has to do with being imaginative or visionary, in the sense of 19th century romantics like William Blake and Beethoven. The meaning of the two phrases together gives the connotation of an all encompassing view that is visionary and imaginative more than it is related to literal vision or it could be an absolute epiphany that causes an emotional reaction. I like romanticism because it was a counterpoint to the age of reason; it has nothing to do with me liking candle light dinners. And the 2 words have nice ring together as well.
