Recently moved to Northern Alabama after many years of living in South Florida. Ready for the change and hope to enjoy reading many a book under that big Oak in the backyard. My main and fave genre is Crime Fiction -- all sorts -- from cozy to Noir. I also enjoy reading romance, women's fiction, memoirs, general fiction and more. I do have a fondness for many of the Florida authors -- like to read "local" & connect w/ the familar & also had the pleasure of meeting quite a few at the wonderful Murder on the Beach bookstore in Delray Beach. Some of my favorite booksites (besides shelfari!) are bookcrossing, bookmooch, paperbackswap, goodreads, stopyourekillingme, etc. I am also a member of several yahoo groups focused on reading and books -- 4MA -- 4 Mystery Addicts -- is probably one of my first & faves for keeping informed on the mystery scene, not to mention a great group -- both online & in real life (meet-ups at Left Coast Crime, Bouchercon, etc).... « less
