I am a teacher and a novelist. My published stories are The Gift Horse, a contemporary suspense tale, and Trinity on Tylos, a science fiction thriller. While these books are in differing genres, I like to write about the complex relationships which people build over time, so they both span several years and have characters who are not necessarily all good or all bad. As a reader, I am eclectic, but my favorite genres include paranormal romance, soft science fiction, military science fiction, and science fiction and fantasy with some romantic elements present. When I read suspense, I enjoy Suzanne Brockmann. Other than fiction, I do read some technical books, since I do web design and page design.

My favorite author list would be long indeed, but in general I like writers such as Robert Heinlein, C.J. Barry, Catherine Asaro, Elizabeth Moon, David Weber, Susan Grant, Sharon Lee and Steve Miller. I read print and eBooks and my favorite eBook authors include Angela Verdenius, Nina Osier, and Janet Miller. « less
