I hope that the season finds you warm and reading. There’s another blizzard out there this morning. Grrrr. Hoping for a mild winter but Mother Nature has a mind of her own and often carries a big stick.
Dracula: Hearts of Stone (Dracula is a good guy)
We start with a shiny new pot of boiling water and add too many evil vampires, and not enough of the good biters. Toss in one suicidal Dracula; add a cup of mayhem and a dash of romance. Stir in some red sheriffs. Oh yes, and a pinch of mirth. Stir lovingly and you have a novel by A. J. Gallant. If it sounds like the recipe for you then you must read Dracula: Hearts of Stone.

Unrealistic or not my writing gives me hope. But with something like 50 000 books published a month it is a little discouraging. I can just picture my book underneath that pile being crushed. I didn’t think there were that many writers.
Hi Paige- just wanted to let you know that North Georgia Book Talk has a few new titles up book of the month for August. They are books that have been made into movies; movies that are due to be out either late summer/early fall. Current plans are to read the book and then meet up for the movie, if you are able. So come by the group, review the choices as we'd love to see you in the group and at the movie!
That sounds great. As for books, I am pretty open. I like to read different type of books by different authors which is why I like book club which makes me read things outside of my usual selection. I have read a lot of trama type books lately and am kinda over it but still open to anything. I see that you mentioned you like historical fiction which is something that I really like. Is there a book that you have not read yet that you would like to??
Hey Paige. I joined a book group which was in my area but the admin quit and I have not hear back from any of the other members. :( I will send you a request and if you know anyone else who would like to join, please invite them. I am currently in a book club in Atlanta but with work and kids, it is difficult to go to the meetings. Are you currently in any book clubs?
