    Hi,

Where is the longest beach located-- and have you been there? It sounds beautiful.

so, what's new in your reading list? what are you reading right now? Did I write that i just finished Nawal El Saadawi's novel Woman at Point Zero? It was good and I felt somewhat lucky not to be born in Egypt though the women go through this same surveillance of men in our society . Have you read it?

Yes, that's what i meant. It's incredible, i must say living in such a place that overlooks your fav. writers home, playground. And sadly i must admit that what that professor said is true. and we the common people are helpless, right now. May be we are waiting for a moment that will push us to lead another movement. I don't know. it's frustrating.

hi , thanks for the note. Yes i have a special affinity for Russian literature. May be that's because i was born in Moscow and my father was working there as translator for Progress Publishing house. Not a very strong reason to love R.L. but my friends used to tease me saying these.
You have quite many favourite books of mine like Malgudi Days. For some reason i like R.K. Narayan's simple and lucid language. Anyway, see you soon.
