Brother Osie:One thing I know about Love....it is indeed, very patient.JASS!
Thanks Os .. I am glad you started considering photography as an art media. I was just visiting 'my space' yesterday and came across your avatar there. THAT looks ghoulish doesn't it? LOL! Hope all is fine with you, why don't I see you at the Alexandria forum ??? hope you pay us a visit ;~)
hello, thanks a lot :D
Hey Osie, long time no see your self :)) good to hear from you. Yes .. this avatar is one of many photos that I had exhibited back in 1989 in a Cairo Gallery - this particular one depicts a mime actor in central park NY back in 1986 - way before the digital and photoshop. From a black n white negative printed on Kodak color paper using a goldish yellow filter. All in the lab. Thanks for the interest.
Thanks, you have a very interesting group. btw if you ever need an atheist's opinion, here I am.^^
salamThank you so much for your very nice and kind noteThis is so gentle from your side
sounds interesting. i am not a big guy on death, but i will drop by and see if i can add anything!
Teffilin - it was a bit of big one, I think: Aryel did point out it took him years, and he sees it as key. Maybe it's my virtually-secular upbringing or maybe it's my Buddhist leanings, but the requirement to use a vessel to davine/meditate doesn't sit well. OTOH, the incredibly rich symbolism of the Teffilin should be preserved, and as a pedagogic aid, it seems amazing.I'm currently reading The Jew In The Lotus, about a bunch of Jewish scholars/rabbis visiting in the Dalai Lama in about 1995. I've only read a couple of chapters, but its very interesting indeed, to see so far just how the different facets of the Faith get along. They also discuss the problems of calling the DL "His Holiness." This rung bells! Maybe for your too?
Hey Osie, I've been real busy, but don't think that I have forgotten you! I'll be able to get back to posting in a week or two.
Yes, i was traveling a bit.
Kinda of part vacation and part work.
Wassup?.Long time no see.
Yaakov/Jake's rocking, thanks! Trust all is well with you and yours. I'm back home with them after working away in London, and life is getting back to normal, which means I hope to get our Rabbi going on the Kabbalah topics again :)
Thanks for the 'Death' invite, interested to see where it goes.L'ShalomLee
Why, Thank You My Friend!Hey Man....I am always cool. You know, the way that you said, what you said: could have been taken grossly out of it's context. But I unstood it, pretty much as youintended it. Besides, I am Jewish, and I see that you are involved into some pretty interesting people! But I knew that you were cool! You are a very good person. Besides, I never take firstimpressions. I really Love meeting folk, with an inlike same spirit....Plus, I like the way you debate! (SMiling)JASS!
Osie:I have not a clue, what you are refering too. Man, I am not that trivial. Those things, if they are indeed what you are talking about....were over for me, 10 seconds or so after they happened. Peace My Brother, Only Love Here!JASS!
Congratulation my friend for being administrator on our-storian group!
