Burning Fight gave me mixed feelings. The stories about hardcore in the 90's were great, especially since I got into hardcore in that era. On the other hand I found the specific band stories by the bandmembers a bit too long at times, more so if I did not know the band that well. Overall a good, but not great, book that gives a good insight of hardcore in the 90's.

I really enjoyed reading this book, especially because he did not glorify the drug- and alcohol intake as much as Mötley Crüe did in their book 'the Dirt' (but I must admit I did really like that one too). It was also interesting to learn that Guns n' Roses managed to become one of the greatest rock n' roll bands in the world despite soo much negative stuff going on in the band.

A must read for music facts junkies like me.
