"Never judge a book by its movie."
J. W. Eagan

I am a thirty-something that adored books as a child. I began reading at the tender age of 4 and never looked back. I am not a book snob and will read just about anything with good writing and a decent plot. And even if it doesn't I will probably still try to read!

Just letting everyone know that the June winner for "Good Reads" is The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffengger. If you're interested in reading the book we look forward to your input and discussion.

Also, July nominations are now posted. Feel free to take a look at those and vote.

Participating in the discussions and voting enters you into the drawing to be selected as a nominator. However, no pressure to participate in either one of these.

Dear Lucky: If you enjoy reading just about anything, my new novel may fit into that broad category. It isn't YA, but it is a thriller. It's called HUNTING THE KING, and it's due out next week. I hope you'll take a look and consider adding it to your extensive shelf. Here are the details:
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon."

While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites.
To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks.
